1.2083 Plastic mould steel​​​​​​​ is a high-chromium martensitic stainless steel specifically designed for plastic injection moulds. Characterized by its high chrome content (13%), it offers exceptional resistance to corrosive plastic aggregates and humid storage environments. Delivered in either the annealed or pre-hardened condition, 1.2083 provides the perfect combination of mirror-grade polishability and high wear resistance after hardening, ensuring long-term production stability for high-precision components.
