Product Overview
1.2714 Tool Steel is a high-performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloyed hot-work die steel. It is specifically engineered for large-scale forging applications where high toughness and excellent through-hardening properties are mandatory.
The addition of Nickel (Ni) significantly enhances its impact strength and resistance to thermal shock, making it far more reliable than standard chromium-based steels for heavy-duty hammers and press inserts.
